The Ancient Greeks and Romans are known to have played many ball games, some of which involved the use of the feet, but the game became really popular in England in the Middle Age. An early reference to a ball game played in Britain was described as “a party of boys … playing at ball”. Today, it’s one of these sports that is really a big thing all around the world. In every tiny village in the remotest area, football is played by kids & adults.
